The Hradec Králové Music Forum 2006

Czech Radio 3 - Vltava and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra present between 26 October and 9 November 2006 5 concerts with works applauded around the world. The listener may choose a place surrounded by modern architecture of the Hall of the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra and expose themselves to light design, or choose the virtual hall of broadcasted concerts by Czech Radio 3 - Vltava, or the digital station of Czech Radio D-dur and join radio listeners who will hear the recordings of selected concerts with the Euroradio network.

Along with the Theatre of European Regions Festival or the Jazz goes to town Festival, the Hradec Králové Music Forum has become another symbol of openness and modernity of Hradec Králové. The first year of the festival sent a signal that could not be overheard about the ambitions of the town and the Czech Republic in the area of so called classical music. The personal participation of Jean-Pierre Tribolet, director of Euroradio/Classics, in the opening concert of the festival is the manifestation of appreciation by the European Broadcasting Union to the joint efforts by Czech Radio 3 - Vltava and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra. The Hradec Králové Music Forum clears away borders between the cultures of the old and new EU member states.

Open Air Opera Festival

Since 2002 Hradec Kralove Philharmonic Orchestra offers every year at the turn of July and August refreshing cocktail of Open Air Opera performances. Traditional partner - International Opera Workshop Burgas.
